From wild card entrant to subsequently emerging as the most skillful DJ of his era, this gifted turn tablist and trail blazer has excelled by creating a unique Caribbean-EDM sound that captivates his thousand-fold audiences. Born on November 20,1991 to a family of talented musicians, it was certainly inevitable that bars and beats would course through his veins. Little did he know,what began as a teenage obsession fueled by raw talent would quickly develop into a fruitful career and lasting passion following his early discovery by DreamRealProjects’CEO and visionary, Matthew “Fewwture” Ashbyin 2009. Fast forward just seven years later, Puffy’s resume spans hundreds of performances at nearly every major event to hit the Caribbean in recent years. His musical air and mash-up prowess transcend geographical and language barriers with international audiences that include both the young and young-at-heart, with a fan-base that spans the Eastern Caribbean, FrenchAntilles, Central America, North America and parts of Europe. Staying strong to his heritage, he has performed for some of the largest Caribbean diaspora festivals in the world including New York’s Labour Day Parade, Miami-Broward Carnival and Notting Hill Carnival. His performances have also been received by an elite who’s crowd which includes his compatriot Rihanna where he most recently performed for at the Fenty X Puma pop up show in New York City and other prominent A-list celebrities such as Amber Rose, J.Cole, Jeremih and the cast of Oxygen’s Bad Girl’s Club. With in the last over years of his career, he opened for a select list of international performers, sharing the stage with Chase and Status, the UK music producing duo; Omarion; Rick Ross and Hed Kandi deejays, Andy Norman and Krystal Rox. However, his biggest spot light moment on the stage was at the seventh world regionals of the Red Bull Three3style World Championship in Santiago, Chile on December 17, 2016, where his eclectic music palette, impressive skills repertoire and compelling stage presence separated him from his competitors and earned the winning vote from world-class masters Nu-Mark, Scratch Bastid, Craze, Z-Trip and DJ Jazzy Jeff. Off the stage, Puffy continues to develop his craft in the studio working on his popular Prime Time mixtapes and pending productions. He is also keen on developing other areas of his professional career having recently collaborated with Dave Bautista in Vegas for Heineken’s Spyöe promotion and is focused on establishing his own clothing and accessory line alongside Boasty in 2017.
